A collection of three modern decorative pole weapons intended for display or theatrical purposes. The group consists of two spears and one large crescent bladed poleaxe. The two spears feature dark finished leaf shaped metal blades mounted to tapered light coloured wooden shafts. The transition between the spear heads and shafts is bound with red fibre wrapping that terminates in tassels. The lower portions of the spear shafts are decorated with incised circular and geometric patterns highlighted with red pigment. The poleaxe features a large polished crescent shaped steel blade with upper and lower points. The blade is secured to a dark stained wooden shaft by a cylindrical brass coloured socket. The weapon is topped with a black conical finial. The overall construction and finish indicate these items are contemporary reproductions rather than functional historical martial arms.
