A group of satirical political collectibles featuring figures from the early 21st-century Middle Eastern geopolitical landscape. The set includes a five-piece series of wooden Matryoshka nesting dolls, each hand-painted with a polychrome portrait of a political or militant leader. The dolls are inscribed in white cursive script at the base with the names Arafat, Hussein, Bin Laden, Qaddafi, and Omar, depicting Yasser Arafat, Saddam Hussein, Osama bin Laden, Muammar Gaddafi, and Mullah Omar respectively. The portraits are rendered in a caricature style on turned wood bodies. Included in the lot is a 1/6 scale action figure depicting Osama bin Laden. The figure is constructed with a posable plastic body and a moulded head featuring a white turban and a beard with grey highlights. The figure is outfitted in a two-piece fabric woodland camouflage uniform and black plastic combat boots. No manufacturer marks are visible on the items.
