A trio of circular decorative plates constructed from a yellow-toned base metal, likely brass, decorated with intricate multi-coloured enamel work. The patterns are executed in a champlevé style, where recessed cells in the metal are filled with coloured enamel. The designs are stylistically consistent with Persian and Middle Eastern decorative motifs, featuring complex geometric and floral arrangements.
The first plate features an eight-pointed central star in yellow enamel, radiating into cream panels containing red and green floral sprays against a white and turquoise border. The central plate displays a concentric mandala-like design with foliate and geometric borders in dark green, red, yellow, and black. The third plate features a similar circular arrangement with scrolling foliate and heart-shaped motifs in shades of green, red, and pink.
