This collection of collectors items and desk accessories comprises various silver and silver-toned pieces. The lot includes a sterling silver pepperette of octagonal baluster form on a conforming stepped base, featuring a pull-off domed cover with circular piercings and a ball finial. It is struck with hallmarks for Birmingham, 1909, with the makers mark D & F for Deakin and Francis Ltd and the lion passant. Also present is a white metal figural vesta case modelled as a bust of William Ewart Gladstone, with a hinged base revealing a hollow interior and a ribbed striking surface on the exterior. The collection also contains a silver-toned cylindrical stand featuring two bands of pierced scroll and fleur-de-lis motifs, topped with an integral crown and mounted on a circular ebonised wooden plinth. Additionally, there is a small globular footed pot with a hinged lid and scrolling handle, embossed with rococo-style foliate patterns and raised on three cabriole legs. The group is completed by a functional steel button hook with a decorative silver handle featuring an embossed floral design.
