A collection of three diverse hand-carved wooden decorative items. The largest piece is a wall mask executed in a West African style, featuring a central face with almond-shaped eyes and three vertical scarification marks on the forehead. The figure is surmounted by an elaborate semi-circular headdress containing a row of twelve smaller carved faces and a wide collar decorated with geometric incised patterns. The second item is a Balinese bust of a female figure, likely a dancer, carved from dense dark hardwood with a prominent light and dark grain characteristic of Macassar ebony. The figure wears an intricate, fan-shaped headdress with pierced openwork scrolling and floral motifs, alongside traditional jewellery including large circular earrings. The final item is a small East Asian mask depicting a jovial character with an open mouth and squinting eyes, wearing a pointed cap with incised sunburst and star decorations.
