A porcelain tea service produced by the Graf von Henneberg factory in Ilmenau, Thuringia, during the era of the German Democratic Republic. The set is decorated in the Japan pattern, a Chinoiserie-style design featuring a palette of iron-red, green, and yellow. The central motif depicts a traditional landscape with pagodas and flowering trees, enclosed by repeating geometric and floral borders. All pieces are finished with gilded highlights to the rims, handles, and lid finials. The set comprises a large teapot with lid, a sugar bowl with lid, a milk jug, six teacups, and an assortment of matching saucers and side plates. The items are contained within a vintage wooden crate branded DELAFORCE on the front. Each piece is marked to the base with a green underglaze factory stamp featuring a crown above JLMENAU, a crest with a ribbon reading Graf von Henneberg Porzellan 1777, and the words Made in German Democratic Republic.
