A contemporary romantic sculpture executed in bronze-patinated resin, depicting an intimate embrace between a man and a woman. The composition features a seated male figure leaning over a reclining female figure who is partially draped with a textured cloth over her hip. The figures are set upon an integral base with a rugged, rock-like texture. The side of the base is incised with the maker’s mark Crosa followed by a copyright symbol and the date 1998. The piece is finished with a dark brown patina to simulate cold-cast bronze.
