A collection of four boxed sets of die-cast model aircraft produced by Atlas Editions as part of their WWII series. Each set contains two historically themed aircraft or weapons with corresponding black display stands featuring white printed identifying text. The models are manufactured from die-cast metal with plastic components for finer detailing. The collection includes the following sets: Doodlebugs! 1945 containing a Gloster Meteor and a V-1 Flying Bomb (box number 4 909 020); Burma Bridge Busters containing a de Havilland Mosquito FB VI and a Kawasaki Ki.61 Hien (box number 3 909 008); Tankbusters, Eastern Front containing a Junkers Ju 87G Stuka and a Yakovlev Yak-3 (box number 4 909 021); and Great Marianas Turkey Shoot containing a Nakajima BN5 Kate and a Grumman F6F Hellcat (box number 3 909 016). Each set is contained within its original two-part polystyrene protective insert and card outer box bearing the manufacturer logo and product number.
