A professional-style chess set by AMEROUS, featuring hand-carved wooden pieces. The light pieces are crafted from boxwood, while the dark pieces are fashioned from a highly-grained dark wood, such as rosewood or sheesham. Each piece is finished with a black felted base for smooth movement across the board. The set includes a wood-veneer board with a dark brown and light tan checkered pattern. For storage, the set is accompanied by a brown faux-leather (PU) case featuring white contrast stitching, a magnetic snap closure, and a brown felt-lined interior with a central divider to organise the pieces. The original black cardboard outer sleeve is present, bearing the manufacturer’s distinctive white hexagonal geometric logo.
