A trio of vintage German-made harmonicas. The collection includes a Reinhold Friedel Agitator model, a specialty tremolo instrument featuring distinctive flared and curved chrome-plated cover plates. These plates are embossed with the markings Reinhold Friedel’s, Agitator, Made in Germany, and Registered No 231987. It is constructed with a dark-stained comb. The second instrument is an M. Hohner Little Laird diatonic harmonica, pitched in the key of G, featuring chrome-plated metal covers and a wooden comb. The third instrument is an early M. Hohner The Chromonica chromatic harmonica, a 10-hole model corresponding to the Model 260, pitched in the key of C. It is fitted with a side-mounted slide mechanism, nickel or chrome-plated covers stamped with the model name and numbered 1 through 10, brass reed plates, and a wooden comb. This chromatic harmonica is housed in an original-style textured cardboard case with a soft interior lining.
