A Bush Radio Type VHF 90 tabletop vacuum tube receiver, manufactured in the United Kingdom circa 1956. The unit is housed in a cream-coloured plastic cabinet, featuring a multi-tiered front grille with an embossed repeating foliate leaf design. The horizontal glass tuning dial covers Medium Wave and Very High Frequency bands, with station markings for the BBC Light, Third, and Home programmes alongside regional and international stations including London, Northern, Scottish, Welsh, Dublin, and Helsinki. Control is managed via two large circular knobs for Volume/Off-On and Tuning. The rear features a textured brown fibreboard back panel printed with technical specifications, identifying it as an AC-DC receiver for 200-250V operation with a 45-watt power rating. A vintage paper service tag is attached, marked with Job No. 2823 for a customer named Brown at 173 Regent Road.
