A sculptural ceramic vase of asymmetric, wedge-shaped form, constructed from heavy stoneware. The piece exhibits mid-20th century brutalist influences and is finished with a thick, reactive volcanic glaze characterised by a deeply pitted and cratered texture, likely achieved through the addition of foaming agents such as silicon carbide. The glaze displays a metallic palette of copper-bronze and charcoal tones with subtle turquoise verdigris highlights. It features a single circular aperture on the curved profile. To the lower body and base are indistinct markings, including a vertical dark line and a faint circular indentation. The vessel terminates in a narrow, flat base.
