A hand-blown glass small jug or creamer, likely of British or Bohemian origin, dating from the late 19th to early 20th century. The piece features an emerald green glass body with an applied handle and base in a contrasting amethyst-purple tint. The exterior is decorated with a hand-painted Lily of the Valley motif, featuring bell-shaped flowers in white enamel and foliage highlighted with gold-toned gilding. The glass contains characteristic internal seeds and air bubbles from the manufacturing process. The base displays a snapped and partially smoothed pontil mark. Under ultraviolet light, the green glass body exhibits a fluorescence, indicating the presence of manganese or a low concentration of uranium in the glass batch.
