A set of six vintage glass worktop savers featuring Fred, the mascot for the British brand Homepride flour. The items are crafted from toughened, textured glass with various illustrations printed on the underside. The set includes two larger boards and four smaller boards. The designs include two versions of a coastal scene with numerous characters, a harbour wall, and beach huts, featuring the printed signature Silvester 1987. Another board depicts characters in a kitchen setting preparing pies, with one holding a Homepride Recipe Book. A further board shows characters cooking over a stove. The collection is completed by two boards with a large, single Fred figure in his characteristic bowler hat and black suit.
