A pair of decorative figurines depicting fighting cocks or roosters, modelled in dynamic and combative stances. One bird is depicted in an upright, aggressive posture with wings partially unfurled, whilst the other is shown in a forward-leaning, lunging position. Both figures exhibit intricate casting to the plumage, combs, and wattles. The items are constructed from cast white metal with a dark, silver-toned patinated finish, featuring polished highlights alongside darker recessed areas to define the feathered texture. This style of decorative metalwork is characteristic of mid-20th-century production, frequently attributed to Japanese or European craftsmanship. No maker’s marks, factory stamps, or model numbers are visible on either piece.
