A group of sterling silver items comprising a silver-mounted cut glass dressing table jar, an ornately chased napkin ring, a decanter label, and a cased spoon. The dressing table jar features a cylindrical glass body with a diamond-cut pattern and a sterling silver lid embossed with a floral and scroll border around a plain, slightly domed centre. The lid bears the hallmarks for Birmingham, 1894, with the lion passant standard mark and maker mark .JL. The napkin ring is of circular form with chased and engraved scrolling foliate and floral motifs against a textured ground. It is hallmarked Birmingham, 1897, with the lion passant standard mark and maker mark JR for John Round & Son Ltd. The decanter label or bottle ticket is engraved WHISKY in block letters within a reeded border and suspended from a curb-link chain. It bears hallmarks for Birmingham, 1906, with the lion passant and maker mark H.BROS for Hilliard & Thomason. The spoon is in the Old English pattern and is housed in a fitted black leatherette case with a cream satin and black velvet lining. The spoon is hallmarked Sheffield, 1908, with the lion passant and maker mark EV for Edward Viner.
