A cased set of six tea knives featuring sterling silver handles and silver-plated blades. The handles are decorated with a traditional reeded or threaded pattern. Each handle is struck with British hallmarks including the maker’s mark W.Y for William Yates, the Sheffield Assay Office crown, the lion passant for sterling silver, and the date letter p for 1907. The blades are stamped with various marks including B, B, a five-pointed star, S, and EP, indicating they are electroplated. The set is presented in a fitted black leatherette case with a gold-line border, lined with grey silk to the lid and green velvet to the base.
