The group features a large rectangular box in the Anglo-Indian style, intricately hand-carved with dense floral and foliate scrolls and a central circular relief carving of an elephant on the lid. The assortment includes a Victorian-style box decorated with geometric parquetry-inlaid bands and a central circular inlay. Also present are several rectangular boxes in mahogany and dark-toned woods, featuring brass escutcheons and simple line stringing. The pieces demonstrate various decorative techniques including relief carving, marquetry, and inlay.
