A Murano hand-sculpted and blown art glass clown figurine. The whimsical standing figure features a bright blue top hat set atop yellow textured hair. It has a white face with a red nose and smiling mouth, framed by a large translucent green ruffled collar. The clear glass torso is decorated with internal red and orange glass inclusions and air bubbles. The clown has red globular arms ending in white ribbed gloved hands. The figure stands upon a base formed of large fused black glass feet. The underside of the base shows a smooth, polished surface typical of a finished pontil mark.
