A Steiff character figure of Edward Trunk from the Rupert Classic series. The figure is constructed with a grey mohair plush body, featuring airbrushed horizontal stripes on the trunk and black safety eyes. He is dressed in a navy blue woollen overcoat, a red waistcoat with three brass-toned buttons, a yellow fabric bow tie, and yellow and black checked trousers. The character is completed with white vinyl lace-up shoes and a black felt beret adorned with a gold-coloured medallion and a white feather. The figure retains the trademark Steiff gold-toned button in the left ear and a white fabric tag with red embroidery, bearing the serial number 662189 and the Knopf im Ohr branding. Included is the original light-blue cardboard presentation box, printed with Rupert Classic TM, a character illustration, and the name Edward Trunk.
